Camp Sweyolakan Hiring Info

We welcome skilled, enthusiastic people to work with our campers at beautiful Camp Sweyolakan during the summer! Room and board is included.

Preference is given to applicants who are certified in areas such as life guarding, ropes, and archery. We offer training sessions in these areas. All certification courses cost additional fees. Contact us if you are interested. 

We hire for the following camp management positions in January/February:

  • Assistant Camp Director
  • Food Service Director
  • Health & Wellness Assistant
  • Challenge Course Program Director
  • Aquatics/Waterfront Program Director
  • Office Manager

We hire for the following camp management positions in March/April:

  • Lead Counselor/Unit Director
  • Leadership Program Director
  • Waterfront Assistants
  • Kitchen Assistants
  • Counselors
  • Counselor Assistants

We also actively seek Registered Nurses to volunteer during each session. RNs who serve in a volunteer capacity are eligible to register their children for camp on scholarship status. Contact us for more information.

We are currently taking applications for all seasonal camp positions. All applicants are required to fill out an application, supplemental questionnaire and provide three written references. Staff who return on consecutive years are required to provide one new reference. Those chosen for positions will undergo a background check and drug test.
