Camp Fire is open to everyone. We embrace the uniqueness of every individual and family every day. Our inclusive program focuses on building skills and gaining self-esteem as a part of the outdoor experience. We want every child to have the opportunity to participate in the magic of camp. Campers with special needs are encouraged to attend our camp sessions. We are a legacy partner of the National Inclusion Project – Lets ALL Play program. Campers with special needs have the opportunity to say “You Bet I CAN!” (YBIC) and participate in all of our camp activities alongside their peers. Camp Sweyolakan accepts campers ages 6 – 21. Campers must be able to navigate uneven terrain and be potty trained, or attend with a caregiver to assist.
Camp Sweyolakan’s camp programs are geared for kids ages 5-18. Our youngest campers must be entering 1st grade in the fall. Kids are placed in small groups by age and are given appropriate activities. Camp Sweyolakan has something for everyone. There are six week-long sessions to choose from. First time campers can attend a shorter session of a 2-night overnight camp or choose from one of three 5-day Outbackers Day Camp sessions. High school Juniors and Seniors looking to make life-long friends, gain leadership skills and gather team building experience can try out our Youth Leadership Programs (Counselor In Training). Families who are looking to camp together with all of Camp Sweyolakan’s amenities invited to join us for the You and Me Kid session (all ages).
Camp Sweyolakan is a rustic 300 acre camp on beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene’s Mica Bay. Camper activities include hiking, boating, swimming, archery, science projects, fishing, forestry, outdoor skills and challenge courses.

Groups move around to activities together, make plans together, sleep together and thrive together, oftentimes bonding to create lifelong friendships.
