Just a few hours each month can make a meaningful difference. Camp Fire youth and adult volunteers are provided with training materials and staff support. As a volunteer, you’ll give service to others, get involved in your community, be recognized for your achievements, and—last, but not least—have some fun yourself.
Youth want to shape the world. They play an important role in our world. Youth leadership is vital to the growth of healthy communities and we have opportunities for teens to volunteer as youth leaders in clubs and at our camps as Counselor Assistants and Buddies.
Camp Fire Inland Northwest is actively seeking qualified, interested volunteers to serve as elected, three-year members of our Board of Directors. The full Board meets monthly at our Spokane Valley office. Members are also expected to participate as interest dictates on standing and/or ad hoc committees. This is a challenging era in this Council’s history; please come help guide our volunteers and staff to fulfill Our Promise.
If you have an interest area but you’re not ready to jump into the Board of Directors head first, how about getting your feet wet by serving on one of the committees, chaired by a Board Member? Finance, Facilities, Personnel, Fund Development, Board Development? Call Maggie Crabtree, (509) 747-6191 ext 19 to explore a good fit for you.
Or maybe office work is more to your liking. We can use help with answering phones and with special projects. Again, contact Maggie Crabtree to see if together we can make it work.
