Camp Fire Camp Dart-Lo Spicy Options

Please note grade requirements and availability of individual Spicy Options below:

Cake Boss (Dart-Lo 2 only, July 14 – 18,  Grades 4 & up)
Fee: $25 Daily activities include piping, frosting, use of fondant, ruffles, coloring and other decorating techniques, bakery tour.  Take home a fully decorated cake!

Cheerleading Clinic (Dart-Lo 3 only, July 21 – 25; Grades K & up)
Fee: $20 Daily activities led by varsity cheerleaders from Shadle Park High School

Farm Milk Bottling Tour and Cheese Making (Dart-Lo 4 only, July 28 – August 1; Grades 2 & up)
Fee $12 An off-site trip to go tour Spokane’s Family Farm and watch milk processing from the cow to the bottle.  Make cheese with the freshest ingredients and use it in a special snack.


Geo-Adventure Crystal and Fossil Dig (Dart-Lo 5 only, August 4 / 8,  Grades K & up)

Fee $25 An off-site digging frenzy on Gem Hill at Livingstone Rock Ranch for iron pyrite, quartz and fluorite crystals, obsidian, agate, jaspers and many more exciting rocks and minerals.  Plus an added adventure digging fossil, thunderegg & petrified wood. The best part…you get to keep what you find.  Tour the Mineral Museum and Identification Lab with hands-on experiments and interactive displays.

Overnighter (every week – Grades K & up) 
Fee: $30 Stay the night at camp for special evening programming and a slumber under the stars.  Cookout dinner, breakfast and lunch is provided. Wednesday night each week.

Sluicing for Treasures (every week – Grades K & up)
Fee: $15 Campers sift mining rough in a sluice box looking for assorted gemstones that may include quartz, peridot, ruby, sapphire, obsidian, moon stone, amethyst, and emerald. To help our miners recognize their treasures, each will receive a gemstone identification card.
