Build a Birdhouse

Here’s your chance to use a hammer and nails to build a wooden birdhouse.  Construct and paint a birdhouse to take home and hang right outside your bedroom window to attract our feathered friends.

CPR for Kids

No Fee 

Grades 4 & up

Pioneer 1 & 3

You will receive a certificate of completion after spending a few hours learning the basic skills to save a life. Your teacher will be a real firefighter in this free non-certified course. 

Create a Critter

Select and stuff your critter, then choose an outfit to dress it up!  Receive a personalized adoption certificate.

Wow! See what treasures and wonders there are beneath the surface of the water! Introduction to SCUBA – you will learn the basics and explore underwater with a certified instructor!  Extra permission required.

Emerald Creek Garnet Dig

Try your hand in finding the Idaho State Gem- the Star Garnet. Dig into stockpiled, garnet-bearing gravels in search of the garnets. When your bucket is full, you sift through the silt, then wash the material in sluice boxes. Take home any garnets you find. Wear old shoes and clothes – you’ll get dirty!

Hiawatha Bike Trail

Gypsy 1 & 3

Follow a groomed bike trail, winding through 10 tunnels and 7 high trestles, this 15-mile route crosses the rugged Bitterroot Mountains between Idaho and Montana. The Route of the Hiawatha is best known for the "Taft" Tunnel, which burrows for 1.66 miles under the Idaho/Montana state line. A gentle ride and all down hill! Extra permission required.

Laugh, learn and taste some edible plants as Miss Esther teaches you about plants at camp! She will take you on a hike around camp and finish the afternoon with a fun project.

Paint a Tepee

What a great souvenir to remember camp the whole year with this tabletop replica of a Native American tepee. You select the pre-printed design and paint it yourself. Each kit comes with poles, and lace pins to set it up when you get home. 

Scrapbook

You pick the papers, colors, and fun decorations.  Design it any way you like, and then take it home ready to fill with drawings, addresses, signatures, journaling, photos and memories!

Sierra Silver Mine & Crystal Gold Mines

Take a 1000-foot guided walking tour through a former silver mine, learning historical and modern mining techniques. Next you’ll visit the only authentic gold mine, dating back to 1880 and rediscovered 100 years later. Pan for gold at the end of the tour.

Silverwood/Boulder Beach

Come experience Silverwood, with more than 50 amusement rides and attractions. Enjoy rides as well as games, restaurants, ice and magic shows. Also includes Boulder Beach Water Park with Big Moose Bay, a gigantic wave pool, and water slides. Price includes lunch and all-you-can-drink soda!

Whitewater Rafting

Great fun and a thrilling ride as you head to Montana to go whitewater rafting (Grade 2 and 3 rapids) on the Clark Fork River. Must be able to swim.  Extra permission required.

Windsurfing

Surf the Wind with this introduction to windsurfing – safety and surfing. Spend two afternoons with experienced staff and surf Mica Bay! New windsurfers this year!  Sign up now! (Min. 80 lbs)

Wrangler Beginner:   $120   All Discovery, Pioneer 2 & 3, All Adventure, Gypsy 1 & 3

Wrangler Intermediate:   $120  Pioneer 1 & 3, All Adventure, Gypsy 1 & 3

Ages 9 & up

You and your horse will take the Rimrock Ride or stroll down to Dally's pond.  Your Bridle Path wrangler will provide riding instruction and safe horse handling in an arena and will be your guide on a scenic trail ride!    Bridle Path Quarter Horses will make your ride one to remember.  Opportunities for beginners and for those with some horse experience (intermediate).   Pre-screening required for intermediate - call us for details.   Extra permission required.
