More Fun at Camp Sweyolakan 2008

 

 

Candy Camporee:

June 13 - 14, 2008

Sell 450 packages of Camp Fire Candy either individually or as a family and receive an invitation for two to Camp Sweyolakan for Candy Camporee 2008!  Please contact us for more info.

 

Open House:   June 21, 2008

Come spend a day at camp!  Meet our wonderful staff and tour the beautiful lodges, trails and shoreline.

Enjoy an hour tour of the lake on The Coeur d'Alene cruise boat for a special price of $5 per person as you travel to the shores of Camp Sweyolakan.  Enjoy archery, the Aqua Jump, canoeing, hiking, the climbing wall, swimming and much more!  (Don't forget to bring your swimsuit, towel and sturdy shoes!)  FREE hot dogs, chips and soda.  Win great prizes such as free summer camp sessions and other fabulous items.

The cruise boat will board at Independence Point, City Park, Coeur d'Alene at 9:30 am.  Park on the east side of the hotel (bring $1 bills for parking).  The boat will return to Independence Point at 3:30 pm.

You and Me Kid:

June 27 - 29   AND/OR   July 11 - 13, 2008

$60 per adult, $35 per child

Open to any adults who want to spend a weekend getaway with their favorite young person. A great opportunity for mentors, big brothers/sisters, relatives and/or friends to spend quality time together in a beautiful setting.  Enjoy as many of the camp activities as you want.  Fees include all your meals and snacks - Friday evening to Sunday breakfast and boat transportation to and from the Sweyolakan Landing.

 

Gals' Weekend

July 25 - 27, 2008

$90 per person

New this year!  Join us for Gals'  Weekend away, July 25-27.  Want to swim, canoe, kayak, play on the Aqua Jump, enjoy a campfire, challenge yourself on the ropes course, hike, sing, do some archery?  We'll have massage therapists, manicurist and espresso, too.  Plus, we're having a cookout!  This is your opportunity. Gals attending must be at least 18 years old.  Please contact us for more info or download registration form here.

18th Annual Women's Retreat:   

September 5 - 7, 2008
$90 per person

Enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway with friends.  Opportunities for new craft projects, games, camaraderie, massages, manicures, espresso and the fun camp activities like archery, swimming, canoeing and more!  Leave all the meal preparation and clean-up to us.  Women attending must be at least 18 years old.  Please contact us for more info or download registration form here.

 

Directions to Sweyolakan Landing:

To be used for weekend and family events only.
Please see the Parent Letter for directions and instructions for camper sessions. Plan to be on the boat at the time indicated on your registration.

From the north (I-90, Coeur d'Alene):

  1. I-90: Take the Highway 95 exit. Turn south toward Moscow-Plummer.
  2. Follow Highway 95 through Coeur d'Alene and across the Spokane River. Continue south approximately 7 miles.
  3. Turn left on Kidd Island Bay Road and follow Camp Sweyolakan signs.
  4. Take Lutherhaven Road (dirt road) and follow it down the hill.
  5. At the bottom of the hill turn left.
  6. Go 1/2 block and turn right at the Sweyolakan sign. Go to the parking area.

From the South (Moscow, Lewiston):

  1. Take Highway 95 north.
  2. Turn right on Kidd Island Bay Road and follow all signs to Camp Sweyolakan as above.
  3. Follow directions above from step 4 on.
