Camp Sweyolakan

Welcome to Sweyolakan!

A Camping Adventure

Welcome to everyone--old and new!  Camp is an adventure from the time you pack your sleeping bag and suitcase to the trip back home.  There are many opportunities to have fun as you...

  • meet new friends and connect with old
  • plan your week with your fellow campers
  • try new things and increase your skills as you progress through the programs
  • enjoy all the great activities on the water, cooking out over a fire, archery and so much more!

Be sure to check out the open house opportunities and if you have questions, please give us a call.

See you this summer!

For more than 87 years, young people from the Inland Northwest have been enjoying wonderful outdoor experiences at Camp Sweyolakan. As one of the oldest resident camps in the country, Sweyolakan has been a summer haven for generations of young people. Because the camp is remote and accessible only by boat, there really is a sense of being apart from everyday life. Young people can relax and enjoy learning about themselves and the world around them in the beautiful setting of lake, mountains and forests.

Camp Sweyolakan is proud to partner with the American Lung Association of Washington (ALAW) to become an "asthma friendly" camp. Children may expect quality care from staff trained by ALAW about respiratory diseases and basic asthma management education. ALAW is also generously providing camp scholarship assistance to eligible families.

Check the box on the registration form to receive additional health care screening information.
