Summer Programs 2008

Our talented and well trained staff goes the extra mile to make the camp experience unique for youth of all abilities and interests. We incorporate on and off-site activities, leadership opportunities, team building exercises and imaginative play to challenge and inspire each participant to grow during their stay. Oh yeah, and most importantly, we have a lot of FUN!

A typical day at camp is anything but typical, here is where we start…

  • Hiking through the woods or along the river and taking in the wonders of the natural world
  • Swimming lessons and water safety training for everyone
  • Outdoor games that promote physical development and burn off extra energy
  • Theatrical fun where kids use their imaginations and become real characters
  • Hands on environmental education activities and experiments
  • Arts and crafts galore that let the imagination wander
  • Relaxation with stories and storytellers
  • Singing silly songs that make you smile
  • Outdoor skills- how to safely build a fire, leave no trace, navigating by compass

There are some very special features at Camp Dart-Lo that just seem to keep campers coming back year after year.

  • Camper groups may take a stab at mastering our Low-Ropes Challenge Course
  • Develop and refine your archery skills
  • Play a round of Frisbee golf with your friends
  • Free swim to cool off in our swimming pool
  • Float the Little Spokane in a tube with your friends
